What Are Good Names for Cats With Blue Eyes?

Some cats’ eyes remain blue, however, which always makes for an extra-striking appearance. That’s why it just makes sense to give your blue-eyed beauty a name that suits their beautiful eyes. Here is a list of our favourite names:
Azure — Referring to the blue sky, “Azure” is a beautiful name for a Siamese or Himalayan cat with blue eyes.
Aqua — If you think of water, you probably think of the colour blue — making this a beautiful way to name your cat after the blue waters of your favourite lake or river.
Mare — Meaning “ocean”, this name is perfect for those blue-eyed cats whose eyes are anything from the shade of the sea on a calm day to the blue-grey of a stormy ocean.
Lapis Lazuli — A blue stone which was at one time also used to make blue paint for manuscripts, this is a grand name for the royalty of the house.
Atasi — From Indian origin, “Atasi” refers to a blue flower.
Cornflower — Striking blue eyes, like that of the blue of cornflowers deserves a beautiful name.
Hyacinth — Another flower name, this flower is much more muted in colour than cornflowers. It makes a beautiful name for a Persian cat with blue eyes.
Darel — From Aboriginal origin, “Darel” means “blue sky”.  
Gormain — An Irish name, “Gormain” simply means “blue” (but what a beautiful way to say blue!).
Jalanhili — Another name from Indian origin, this one meaning “as blue as water”.  
Linna/Lynae — From Scandinavian origin, the name “Linna” refers to a small blue flower.
Mavi — “Mavi” means “blue” in Turkish. Perfect for your blue-eyed Persian beauty.
Meena — The name “Meena” refers to a precious blue stone and is Indian in origin.
Mora — Another short and sweet name, “Mora” is Spanish for a little blueberry.
Neela — From Indian origin, meaning “blue”.
Neelakshi — A perfect name from Indian origin; as it means “blue-eyed”.
Teal — Referring to the blue-green colour, it’s a good name for those cats whose eyes are more this colour.
Yahto — From Sioux, simply meaning blue and definitely a one-of-a-kind name for your furry feline.
